Imagine a Delaware where innovative aquatic programs and broad community access drive wellness, competitive excellence, and year-round economic vitality.
FSAC is developing a world-class aquatics facility for the State of Delaware—the first indoor 50-meter pool of its kind in the state.
The facility is planned to support simultaneous programming. It will include an Olympic competition pool, a 25-yard training pool, spectator seating for 1,200+, multi-purpose conference rooms, and an outdoor water feature.
The facility will support youth and adult training, aquatic sports development, and water safety education. In alignment with proven national models, FSAC is designed to complement existing community pools by focusing on advanced training and expanded opportunity.
Beyond competitive swimming, FSAC will expand access to a wide range of aquatic disciplines and water-based activities that build confidence, safety, and lifelong engagement in the water.
These programs are designed not only to serve local residents but also to position Delaware as a destination for regional and national aquatics events. By hosting competitions, training camps, and multi-sport gatherings, FSAC will play an active role in advancing sports tourism, driving consistent visitation, and supporting broader economic and community impact across the state.
Our Vision:
To position Kent County as the Mid-Atlantic’s hub for aquatic advancement.
The FSAC has progressed from the "initiative" phase to a formalized board structure. With governance now in place, the board is actively fundraising to complete the next phase of our feasibility and design study.
